Ok its been nearly a year since I last posted ...... I may be getting better at this :-)
My latest news is I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and working for a caterer. Not sure which is bigger news haha. On the plus side, I've already got the nursery sorted and I've got heaps of secondhand furniture so bubba is set for the first few months. On the down side, I may not be able to go to the conference this year .... and its in Fiji. I'll be 33 weeks for the entire trip so safe to fly with either Quantas or Virgin. But I can't find an insurance company that will cover me past 30 weeks. Decisions, decisions.
If it's a girl her name will be Grace Hope and a boy will be Jakob Ryan. I know (as does the rest of my family) but Steve doesn't want to so I won't mention it in here either.
I have found this pregnancy to be very different from the last time. I get more aches and pains and I've gained weight very early. Still no morning sickness or anything like that (sorry Bec), I just don't fit my clothes very well now.
I have some patterns for maternity wrap shirts so I'm going to try to make one. Also going to attempt a 'birthing gown' as nakedness is not for me and I'd rather not have to wear a hospital gown. I'll keep you posted ..
Nesha's in year 12 and still trying to decide what she wants to be. However she does know she wants dreadlocks .... unsure if this is a move forward ... As long as she's happy tho I don't really care what she does with her hair. Other than that she seems to be a general sort of teenager but nicer. She had been working with me on the weekends as a barista in training. Seems to like it but I know she prefers functions to horse shows. At functions you spend 3 hours on prep work, 1 hour serving and 2 hours cleaning up and usually no break in between.
Saphira has been spending a bit of time at our house lately. It's awesome coz she dusts as she crawls around :-) I've been trying to teach her to say 'goat' and sometimes she does. Sometimes it's more like 'ga' tho. We've been experimenting with different foods when she's here. Vegemite is a favorite and peanut butter with honey however we are not a fan of jam. I'm going to make cheese twists next time, they were Nesha's favorite snack so we'll see.
Ok that's all for now.

My house, Saphira, Steve and the ball
Ok, here's a picture of our house. Steve, Nesha and I bought this house and on the 18th of March, we started moving in :) HOORAY!!!!
Of course, we've since mown the lawn and all :) I need to get a photo of us standing out the front or something but i keep forgetting about it.
My little baby sister has had a baby of her own!!! YAY for her!! Saphira is adorable and (I'm hoping) still alive .... I haven't seen her for nearly 2 weeks :( Last I heard, Bec was going to attempt to CHANGE HER NAPPY.... I guess Bec knows it was supposed to go on Saphira's bum?? :P
From all reports tho, Bec is holding up splendidly since Michael has to work. Still unsure on whether Bec has slept properly since the birth tho.
Steve is working in Perth right now and I REALLY want to go visit. I love Freemantle! Its so beautiful there and very relaxed.
The Bidvest Conference is coming up in August and still no-one is releasing the colour scheme. I'm thinking I may just have to wing it, however last year's winging saw me wearing a vibrant blue gown for the themed 'Black and Gold' ball :) I did stand out!
Nesha and I went shopping on Tuesday. Poor kid had orthodontist and she was really hurting from the tightened braces so we went to Sunshine Plaza. I bought the prettiest shoes ... and they're heels!
Now I'm practising walking in them haha
I think that's about all I have to add right now.

Big Day
Well, Im stuffed. The day started with Bec saying she'll be down to help me move some stuff out of the garage. We then proceeded to empty the lot, sweep it, bring Mum's car in to vacuum while I washed Dad's, then moved Mum's out to vacuum Dad's which I helped with before washing Mum's, bathed Annie, dismantled the trampolines, bagged Nathaniel, cleaned the house, moved all my stuff up to the shed AND Bec left FB logged on!!!!!! So of course i hijacked it which was freaking funny coz she usually does it to mine :) Got lots of stuff done but then it poured down and the creek flooded so Bec couldn't go and get Mum and Dad, who are due back after 6 1/2 weeks in Africa. So they're spending tonight in a hotel and hopefully we can get out tomorrow. Sarah has a vet appointment coz she got her foot caught in a dingo trap on Friday (serves her right for roaming) but I want to make sure its not too bad. Anyway I need to go hang up washing now.

Humphrey
I get my car back today! HOORAY!!! Its been a funny few days.
Ive dropped the car off to be fixed, put together 3 wagons, weeded a quarter of the veggie patch, went to church on Sunday, took Jase to the airport in Brisbane on Monday, saw Gaz the tattooist and had a chat while he tattooed someone (very cool) and in amongst all that, I talked to Steve 3 times in one day coz I didnt speak to him for ages while he was off hunting. Also went shopping and got 4 seasons of Numbers for $20 each!!! (That's impressive because its usually $62 for one)
I also facilitated Bec getting her keys back from Michael through Facebook. Ok I'm off again.

THE ROAD IS DRIVEABLE!!
We can now bring our cars home. Its awesome! Saw Dad down at Nathaniel's and he asked if I wanted to drive home. Im so used to leaving my car there that for a minute I thought he meant I could drive his . . YAY! Anyway I drove my car all the way to the house . . the first time in 2 months.
Dad said to keep an eye out for a really big snake that was on the road but we didnt see it. It turned out that it had crawled away before we got there :( ok I'm off again.

Poor Humphrey
Humphrey is my car. . And she's a girl. She came with the name and we liked it so we kept it. Humphrey is 17 years old and we're on the second motor that I'm aware of. She was starting to make some funny noises so I took her to the mechanic. Its going to cost a fair bit to fix her but I think she's worth it. That car should not even be going but its like I keep telling people, as long as I love her she will carry on. I've had an accident, been backed into, made countless trips around town with all of Nesha's friends in it, multiple trips from Gladstone to Gympie and back and even been bogged a couple of times. She's got dents, dings, cracks, paint missing, torn upholstery, mud everywhere, oil leaks and the stereo doesnt work properly but she still goes. Im thinking about doing her up a little, new paint job etc. She deserves it :) We love Humphrey!!

My New Blog
Yay!! I have a blog :) Bec's sitting beside me teaching me how this thing works. She was complaining because I hadn't written anything yet but I explained that this is my life . . . . . a blank page. Anyway, this is for Nesha and I so we'll be taking turns. Later
