Ok its been nearly a year since I last posted ...... I may be getting better at this :-)
My latest news is I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and working for a caterer. Not sure which is bigger news haha. On the plus side, I've already got the nursery sorted and I've got heaps of secondhand furniture so bubba is set for the first few months. On the down side, I may not be able to go to the conference this year .... and its in Fiji. I'll be 33 weeks for the entire trip so safe to fly with either Quantas or Virgin. But I can't find an insurance company that will cover me past 30 weeks. Decisions, decisions.
If it's a girl her name will be Grace Hope and a boy will be Jakob Ryan. I know (as does the rest of my family) but Steve doesn't want to so I won't mention it in here either.
I have found this pregnancy to be very different from the last time. I get more aches and pains and I've gained weight very early. Still no morning sickness or anything like that (sorry Bec), I just don't fit my clothes very well now.
I have some patterns for maternity wrap shirts so I'm going to try to make one. Also going to attempt a 'birthing gown' as nakedness is not for me and I'd rather not have to wear a hospital gown. I'll keep you posted ..
Nesha's in year 12 and still trying to decide what she wants to be. However she does know she wants dreadlocks .... unsure if this is a move forward ... As long as she's happy tho I don't really care what she does with her hair. Other than that she seems to be a general sort of teenager but nicer. She had been working with me on the weekends as a barista in training. Seems to like it but I know she prefers functions to horse shows. At functions you spend 3 hours on prep work, 1 hour serving and 2 hours cleaning up and usually no break in between.
Saphira has been spending a bit of time at our house lately. It's awesome coz she dusts as she crawls around :-) I've been trying to teach her to say 'goat' and sometimes she does. Sometimes it's more like 'ga' tho. We've been experimenting with different foods when she's here. Vegemite is a favorite and peanut butter with honey however we are not a fan of jam. I'm going to make cheese twists next time, they were Nesha's favorite snack so we'll see.
Ok that's all for now.
